This site builds on the work of Brown Thurston in his 1892 edition of Thurston Genealogies 1635-1892. The information in that book is being transcribed into a searchable database on site here and also located in Gencircles. The tree is being extended and corrected with information gathered from other reliable sources. This is the family of Daniel Thurston of Newbury who emmigrated in the early to mid 1600's to the Newbury area of Massachusetts. Eventually there will be 2 databases on site as Thurston's work included 2 volumes. Volume One contains all families he knew were connected to Daniel and Volume Two contains families he thought were related but could not connect by 1892 to Daniels tree.
